Stainless steel high-polished cover for the rear transmission cooler/radiator. This piece is absolutely beautiful—you must see it mounted! It covers the front and sides, so the unattractive device is no longer visible. Fits existing factory bolt holes and is easy to mount.

Made of pure, shiny, heavy-gauge stainless steel with a polished mirror finish. No maintenance required. Will not rust, stain, or fade. It will not come off on the road, even with vibration or potholes. Not designed to fit with the trailer hitch.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Parts included:

1 x Transmission Cooler Cover

4 x 3/4″ Self-tapping washer head screws

2 x 5/16″ x 3/4″ bolts

2 x 5/16″ flat washers

  1. Before placing your new cover into position, look under the car to check if your model contains four threaded holes located on the rear frame rail. These holes are intended for the factory Prowler trailer hitch option. If your Prowler has these four threaded holes, your new cover is designed to use the two outer hole locations. If your model has no holes, you will need to create pilot holes using the self-tapping screws.
  2. Place your new cover over the transmission cooler so the cover clips over the back of the cooler’s mounting bracket.
  3. Align the cover with the factory holes on the aluminum frame rail and attach it using the two 5/16″ bolts and washers provided. Remove the protective liner.
  4. If your Prowler has no holes in the frame rail, drill pilot holes in the mounting tabs using a 9/64″ drill bit. Once complete, attach the cover using the four self-tapping washer head screws provided.

Note: Care must be taken when cleaning your cover. Lightly dust with a clean, soft cloth first to prevent any particles from scratching it. Then wipe with a new, clean, soft cloth using a high-quality, streak-free glass cleaner.
