Description
This was a big hit at the last Prowler meet.
It will never rust and will always keep its luster!
High-polished stainless steel rear frame covers hide the unsightly frame between the rear wheel and the fender.
They box in the top and two sides with mirror-polished stainless steel, giving your Prowler a finished show-car look.
Once the rear wheel is removed, this part mounts easily with self-adhesive automotive bonding tape already attached to its backside.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Parts included:
2 × Polished Rear Frame Caps, 2 × Packets of Promoter
NOTE: Do not remove the clear plastic film on top of the trim rings or the red liner on the backside of the trim rings until instructed to do so.
- Remove the rear wheels of your Prowler. It is easiest to do this one at a time: mount the frame cap, remount the wheel, and repeat the process with the other rear wheel.
- Once the wheel is removed, take a rear frame cap and set it on top of the frame corner. Adjust it so you are comfortable with how it fits.
- After confirming that the cap fits snugly onto the frame corner, take a tube of clear adhesive silicone (available at any hardware store) and liberally apply it to the frame’s vertical sides (see diagram). Remove the backing from the tape attached to the underside of the top of the frame cap, then carefully position the cap into place.
- Once in place, press firmly over the entire surface of the frame cap. It is best to let this set for two hours before remounting the rear wheel.
- Once the rear wheel is remounted, repeat the process with the other rear wheel.
