INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Included: 1 x Stainless Steel Water Tank Cover, 1 x Small Plastic Spacer, 1 x Chrome Cap

To install your new cover, minor modifications are required to straighten the tank and trim it so the cover fits properly.

1. Remove the two bolts securing the water tank to the inner fender. Place the provided small plastic spacer between the tank and fender at the bottom hole, then re-bolt the tank. This ensures the tank sits straight.
2. Trim the excess plastic from the tank. There is a large swell near the upper bolt. The plastic is soft and can be trimmed with a utility knife. Remove small slivers at a time until the surface is flush with the top of the tank, allowing the new cover to sit flat.
3. After completing these adjustments, place the new cover over the water tank. Slide it down over the tank neck, allowing the sides to slip between the tank and the fender.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE:

Care must be taken when cleaning your cover. Lightly dust it with a clean, soft cloth to remove any particles that could scratch it. Then wipe with a new, clean, soft cloth using a good-quality streak-free glass cleaner.
