Description

Complete your engine compartment Show Car Upgrade with these stainless steel polished fender caps. Includes one for each side. Not visible when the hood is closed. Gives your Kat’s engine compartment a finished look. Easy installation.

It can be removed without damaging your car. Stays in place and never loses its luster. Will not rust, corrode, or stain. A true show-car piece! It will not come off on the road, even with vibration or potholes.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Included: 2 x stainless steel fender caps, 6 x chrome resin caps

NOTE: Your new covers are accompanied by a protective liner. Do not remove the liner until instructed to do so.

  1. Thoroughly wash the tops of the fenders in your engine compartment, where you will be mounting your fender cap trims. Let dry. Wipe the area with rubbing alcohol to remove any trace of oil. Let dry again.
  2. Remove the three fender bolts on top of each side of your engine compartment.
  3. Place the corresponding fender trim cap in position over the bolt holes. Once you are familiar with how these trim caps fit, go to the next step.
  4. Remove the protective liner, then replace the stock fender bolts.
  5. You have been provided with six decorative chrome bolt covers. To install these covers, apply a small dab of clear 100% silicone adhesive to the underside of each cap and place it over the bolt head. Allow a few hours to set. Be careful not to apply too much silicone, as it may ooze out the sides and create a mess.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE:

Care must be taken when cleaning your cover. Lightly dust your cover with a clean, soft cloth first to prevent particles from scratching it. Then wipe with a new, clean, soft cloth using a good-quality streak-free glass cleaner.
