Description

High-polished stainless steel metal center dash trim set. Includes a large one-piece oval to fit around your center dash oval (with a genuine Chrysler Wings emblem that mounts on the top center) and two chrome vinyl trim pieces that follow the dash lines on each side of the stainless steel dash oval.

What a difference this kit makes to the inside of your Prowler! Prowler owners love it.
It gives a professional show car look.
Easy to mount and will stay on as long as you like. You may remove the trim pieces without damaging your dash.
No tools or modifications are necessary to mount this kit.

Included: One stainless steel oval plus two chrome vinyl side strips

Installation Instructions

Parts included: 1 polished large center oval trim ring, 2 chrome vinyl side strips, 1 small Chrysler Wings emblem, and 1 adhesive promoter pen.

  1. Clean the center dash gauge area, perimeter, and the vertical lines on both sides. First, use rubbing alcohol to remove dirt, then clean again with isopropyl alcohol. Let dry.
  2. Without removing the red backing, place the new center trim ring on top of your Prowler’s center dash oval (with the gauges). Move it around until it looks best to you.
    The trim ring should sit on top of the painted center dash oval, not the black vinyl. Position it so it is centered top-to-bottom and side-to-side. Practice a few times, as once the adhesive is set, it cannot be moved without damage.
  3. Take the small Chrysler Wings emblem (without removing the backing) and position it on top of the center dash trim ring where the wing outline is.
    Once comfortable with the placement, wipe the area with the adhesive promoter. Peel off the red backing and set the emblem in place. Press firmly along the entire surface for a solid bond. Place a weight on it for one hour to ensure it sets firmly.
  4. Once satisfied with the position of the dash trim ring, use the promoter pen to moisten a line around the perimeter of the painted dash area.
    Remove the red liner from the attachment tape on the underside of the trim ring. Carefully hold the trim ring in position (a helper may assist). Press firmly along the entire edge to ensure a tight bond. Let it sit for 8 hours without disturbance or moisture.
  5. Install the chrome vinyl side strips, following the same procedures from steps 1–3. These strips butt up against each side of the large oval trim piece, following the dashed lines and bending around corners. Tape them with masking tape while they set, if necessary.
