Description
Super High-Quality Part
Designed specifically for 1997–2002 Plymouth/Chrysler Prowlers with the bumpers removed. This bracket is ideal if you need a front license plate but don’t want to drill into your bumpers to mount our other style bracket or the factory bracket.
The heavy-duty mounting arm is made of black powder-coated stainless steel with brushed stainless accents. The frame itself is stainless steel, so you don’t have to worry about rust like you would with a chrome frame. This bracket mounts under the front frame section using existing factory bolts — no drilling required. (Does not mount to bumper.)
Easy to mount and looks great.
Includes: 4 caps
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Parts included: 1 x Metal mounting arm, 1 x License Plate & Frame assembly
- Use metal lift ramps to elevate the car for safety.
- IMPORTANT: Hold the bracket up under the car where it will be mounted. Make sure it fits completely snug against the body, especially in Diagram 5 and Diagram 6. If there is any play between the front of the bracket arm and the body, bend it by hand until it fits properly and securely.
- Locate the two factory bolts securing the fender bracket to the aluminum body frame. Remove these bolts and set them aside. (See Diagram 4.)
- Your new tag frame is attached to a steel bracket that aligns with these bolt locations. Position the new bracket so that it extends toward the passenger side of the Prowler, then reinstall the bolts you removed earlier. Ensure the bracket is tightly secured against the underside of the Prowler nose for stability. If there is any gap, remove the bracket and bend it slightly so it creates a positive pressure point. Use the included 2” round furry Velcro pad between the bracket and painted surface to prevent long-term paint damage. Reinstall and tighten the bracket firmly, then lower your Prowler.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE: Lightly dust with a clean, soft cloth before cleaning to avoid scratching. Wipe with a new, soft cloth and a good quality, streak-free glass cleaner.
