Description

This high-polished stainless steel sleeve fits inside the five dash panel gauges. It brightens and enhances the look of the Prowler dash.

Installation Instructions

Parts included: 4 ABS small chrome gauge sleeves, 1 ABS large chrome gauge sleeve, 1 adhesive promoter pack. et

Installation instructions for the application of the Prowler chrome ABS dash gauge inserts:

  1. Thoroughly clean the lower openings of all five gauges with alcohol, then when you swipe these areas with the adhesive promoter (packet provided).
  2. Before permanently attaching the inserts, place them into position to understand their placement and hold each one in place. Mark the insert sleeve on the dash with a pencil or fine marker. This will guide you during installation.
  3. Using a household hair dryer, warm both the dash and each insert until they become soft and pliable. Be careful not to overheat or burn them, as this may cause melting or damage. Warm them slowly, just enough to make them flexible.
  4. Once softened, carefully set each insert into its marked position. Start at the back against the gauge and work outward for the best fit and a gapless result. Press firmly over the entire insert to ensure it bonds completely, leaving no air bubbles or gaps. A heat gun may be used if additional flexibility is required.
  5. Wipe away your placement markings with alcohol. Then remove the protective liner to finish the installation. Let dry overnight.
