Your Prowler came from the factory with more performance than your Engine Control Module (also known as PCM) is programmed to deliver. Why? Because of emissions standards, fuel economy, and related restrictions. Simply remove and send us your PCM (insured), and we’ll send it back ready for you to install! Average performance gains are 25–35 horsepower, not including additional upgrades such as headers, exhaust systems, and more.
This PCM Upgrade is designed for stock Prowlers as well as those with modifications (performance exhaust, cold air intake, headers). Upgrades include:
- Revised premium fuel and timing tables
- Raised rev limit
- Raised speed limit
- No torque management

Many other engine programming services are available—just ask us. We are unable to delete catalytic converters due to federal regulations.
You will need to remove your Prowler PCM. It’s easy to do—simply unbolt and unplug it from behind the passenger-side fender (see photo). Send it to:
