Prowler Stainless Steel Rear Bumper "Prowler" letters Insert
ACC-822015, ACC-822016, ACC-822017 - "Prowler" or "Plymouth"  or  Both
INSTRUCTIONS
 

Parts included:     1 x set of letters spell “PROWLER” and/or 1 x set of letters spell “PLYMOUTH”

 WARNING:  It is very important to follow every step without skipping anything. This will ensure that you mount your insert letters professionally.

1.  Prepare the bumper indented letters by washing them thoroughly with soap and water.  Let fry.  Next wash them with rubbing alcohol do remove any oily residues.
NOTE:  If you have used a protectant such as wax or Armor-All you will have to go through a more thorough cleaning process.  Use a solvent such as thinner inside the indented letters to remove. 
Now take a small piece of sand paper and rough up the inside of each letter on your bumper.  This will ensure a strong bond.

2.  Once your indented letters are dry you may begin to form the letters one at a time.
NOTE:  Do not remove the backing of the letters until instructed to do so.
To do this take the first letter and set it in its indented corresponding letter.  For example, start with the “P” in Prowler. Examine how it fits.
 
**VERY IMPORTANT:  You will need to carefully bend the letter by hand to match the curve in your bumper. You will do this by trial and error.
Bend each letter in this manner until they lat along the curve of the bumper perfectly.  The short letters may not require any bending.

3.  Now take out your Promoter Pen. Snap it sharply in the middle to break the glass ampoule inside.  Press the promoter pen inside the indented letters on your bumper. Cover the inside letters completely with the clear promoter liquid.  Do this to each letter in your bumper that you are going to mount the new letters to.

4.  Once you are satisfied with the fit you may remove the backing of the first letter and press it firmly into the indented letters on your bumper.

5.  Now repeat this process for each letter.  It is important to get a good fit because the automotive tape on the back of each letter is not strong enough to keep the letter bent by into place itself over the long run. 
You may want to tape a piece of masking tape over each letter that is mounted to the bumper to hold it in place for 12 hours.  Once you remove the tape clean the letters and bumper with a good glass cleaner.
